issue: you want to import a new folder of fonts from a new location which contains several fonts which are already in the database. you don't want to have duplicate entries in FEX, but FEX shall use the already imported fonts, if these are the same. (Note: I use "don't manage fonts" because I like to have a font folder I manage for myself which is not on the system volume.)

problem: v1.1.2 creates duplicates of the same fonts which are already in the database (one with the old, one with the new path), even if you have choosen "use already imported fonts" - "use this setting for the rest of the fonts". these duplicates were even not shown in the conflicts window when choosing "show duplicates"; FEX seems to think that these are different fonts.

detail: it seems to affect only type1 fonts which are missing a "unique name" (font info shows: "unique name: not availabe"), truetype fonts are not a problem. but I don't have checked this intensely.

annoying: v1.1.1 does not have this problem!!! everything works fine there with every kind of fonts (type1, type3, truetype, openfonts). I already reported this problem to linotype, but they don't seem to understand what I mean. I can reproduce the problem to 100%; on different macs and so on.

i hope they will remove this bug in the next version!!!

Note: I use a german version of FEX, so I don't know if the mentioned settings are called like I did it above. I also apologize for any strange english phrases, this is not my native language.
